Lab Results – Certificate of Analysis
SONA CBD products comply with all Oregon State mandated testing requirements and we post the testing results (Certificates of Analysis) for all products. When reviewing testing results, there are a few key points our team would like to offer:
1. Ensure the test results are for the batch of CBD oil used to make your specific product and NOT just a single sample test result.
It is important to ensure that the results posted by any company represent the total batch results used to make their products. This is important as the contents of Hemp plants can vary widely, from terpene distribution to the concentration of various cannabinoids. Every batch will differ in their results.
2. Verify the potency
Remember to check that the amount of THC in your product is less than 0.3%.
3. Review for any harmful substances
In addition to potency tests, CBD suppliers should also be transparent about what is in their Hemp extracts. The most important things to look for are the presence of mycotoxins and pesticides.
4. Be sure to read your product label.
It is essential that first-time CBD users know how to read the product label on their bottle. The label contains important information about the serving size, the maximum number of servings recommended per day, amount of cannabinoids in each serving, and the other ingredients in your extract like Hemp seed oil or MCT oil.
